More than a dozen Canadian carriers operate Boeing airplanes, including Canada’s major airlines Air Canada and WestJet. Each day, about 100,000 passengers fly on Boeing planes operated by Canadian airlines.

WestJet operates the 737-700, 737-800, 737 MAX and 787-9. Since launching its business with three 737s in 1996, WestJet has grown its all-Boeing fleet to more than 100 airplanes.

Trusted partner to the Canadian Armed Forces

Boeing has a long-standing relationship with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), built on trust and innovation to enhance national security. Over the years, Boeing has delivered advanced aerospace solutions, including maintenance, training, and logistics support, ensuring the CAF remains at the forefront of modern defense operations. Key contributions include the CH-147F Chinook helicopters for transport capabilities and the C-17 Globemaster for strategic airlift operations, supporting both domestic and international missions.
Today, many CAF veterans are part of Boeing's workforce in Canada, particularly in support programs for the Chinook and Globemaster, based in southern Ontario. As the partnership evolves, Boeing is introducing the P-8A Poseidon as Canada’s multi-mission aircraft, further strengthening its commitment to the CAF and enhancing operational capabilities.

Local industry partnerships

Boeing's extensive network of approximately 500 suppliers across Canada highlights the country's role as one of the most significant international suppliers for the company. This network spans every province and underscores the importance of Canadian companies to Boeing's global operations.

The collaboration with Canadian suppliers not only enhances Boeing's production capabilities but also strengthens the aerospace industry within Canada, fostering job creation and innovation. This relationship reflects Canada's strategic importance in Boeing's supply chain, making it a vital partner in the company's efforts to deliver advanced aerospace solutions worldwide.
